The main design idea was to create a nature-friendly building and use 100% of its spatial possibilities. In this way, the surroundings and the form of the building create an additional usable space, which translates into reducing the need to build hardened and roofed outdoor areas. The wooden structure is a key element influencing the ecological impression of the project. An important factor during the design process was to provide contact with nature, where openness to nature will allow potential user to collect thoughts and provide good mental comfort, which in the case of the library may play a key role in the perception of the building. The wooden structure refers to the construction of riverside piers.
